TPU 95A / FIRST PRINT NEXT

A sunrise.
A little detail.

Layered rock shelves frame a widening water channel. A sun above the horizon, little erosion pockets and reflection ripples bring the coast to the table.

Three engraving depths keep the detail recessed below the level support surface. A continuous flat outer band and flat underside complete the design.

  • 104 mm diameter · 4.2 mm overall thickness
  • Recesses at 0.30, 0.55 and 0.75 mm
  • 3.45 mm minimum modeled base thickness
  • TPU 95A target · one material
  • Same outer dimensions as the six-coaster case prototype

Unprinted prototype. Mesh verified; physical detail, stability, grip, cleaning and case fit still need testing.

Built for the first print.

Start with one coaster. Print the flat underside on the bed with the engraving facing up. The model has no intended support requirements.

Our trial plan uses a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.15 mm layers, placing each engraving level on a layer boundary. Use the printer and filament supplier’s TPU 95A profile for temperatures, drying and feed setup.
